So, finally we´re finishing Past Simple. We started a new topic "I Can do it!".Once we saw already the use of "can" in polite requests:
Can I have some water, please?
Can you bring me a bill?
Today we learnt "Can/Can´t" for ability/lack of ability:
I can swim well.
I can´t play the piano.
We use can/can´t with all personal pronouns without change (I, you, he, she, it, we, you, they).
Can Josh drive a car? - No, he can´t.
Can they ride a bike? - Yes, they can.
