17-19/12 Tuesday-Thursday. Classes 25-26

Hello!
I´ve decided to join two classes into one blog entry. We´ve started a new topic "Food and drinks" and learnt some new vocabulary - food and drinks (check out for online activities here.)

We learnt that the majority of nouns for food and drinks are uncountable (milk, meat, juice, water, cheese, chicken etc.):
an orange, an apple, a candy
some milk, some beef, some cheese

To make uncontable nouns countable we can use special words "containers" - a bar, a loaf, a packet, a jar, a bottle, a tin, a can etc. For extra practice - do the activities here.

We talked about Star Signs and their favourite food. Is there any relation? Here´s a funny link (a bit difficult, but pictures are fun). Read at home the text again and write your sign menu.

We revised as well some phrases to talk about the preferences:
I love.../I like.../I hate .../I can´t stand ...
I prefer ... to ...

I wish you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Have some rest and see you refreshed next trimester!
